As a specialist lawyer for intellectual property rights, Dr. Schöneich’s advice on intellectual property rights covers all areas of creative work, in particular copyright works. Technical property rights and the protection of know-how are also part of his daily practice, for example in the context of research and development projects. He advises companies ranging from start-ups to research-based companies and research institutions.

In the course of the digitalization of companies and institutions and the resulting questions relating to intellectual property rights, Dr. Schöneich also devotes particular attention to IT and software contract law.

In competition law, Dr. Daniel Schöneich has extensive expertise in product advertising and labeling, which he frequently uses for consumer goods and food manufacturers. This resulted in a further specialization in the field of wine law.
He is a lecturer at the Institute for International Law, Intellectual Property and Technology Law at the Technical University of Dresden and regularly publishes on intellectual property topics, e.g. in the Handbook of Cultural Management.
