As an experienced specialist in IT and data protection law, Dierk Schlosshan is an important contact for medium-sized and large client companies of Battke Grünberg. He is certified as a company data protection officer and has been contributing his expertise to the firm since 2020. His career has taken him to several European countries; as a partner, Dierk Schlosshan built up the Leipzig office of a commercial law firm and, after completing his MBA, moved to the European headquarters of the online group AOL, based in London and Hamburg, for more than ten years. With this experience, Dierk Schlosshan now supports public and private sector players in IT tenders, the defence against warning letters and the legally compliant procurement or use of software. He takes on mandates as an external data protection officer, advises start-up companies on financing issues or employee participation models and undertakes employee training in the areas of e-government, IT law and data protection.

Dierk Schlosshan brings additional expertise in the areas of travel law and real estate law. In the tourism industry, he advises tour operators and tourism companies on drafting contracts and assists them in enforcing claims both out of court and in court.

In real estate law, his advisory focus is on the removal of legal obstacles to investment, such as “GDR legacy rights”, and on the negotiation of third-party rights of use. In real estate investments, Dierk Schlosshan supports his clients with the development of viable investment models or the drafting of commercial lease, rental and purchase agreements.
