Specialist lawyer for labour law
The diversity of labour law is not enough for her. That is why Dr Andrea Benkendorff has additionally specialised in modern personnel management concepts and alternative dispute resolution. In addition to providing ongoing advice to large employers, the labour law specialist therefore develops solutions for contemporary “New Work” working models. After all, every current development in the world of work has significant legal implications – from desk sharing to flexible working hours and mobile working to performance-based systems for remuneration or bonus payments. For example, Dr. Benkendorff assists her clients with the introduction of staff development models or designs strategies for attracting and retaining specialist staff.
Andrea Benkendorff also uses her expertise in conciliation committees under works constitution or employee representation law and in collective bargaining. She also advises on issues of collective agreement law and church labour law.
Dr. Benkendorff provides project-related advice on restructuring, out- and insourcing, company acquisitions and labour law due diligence. he also represents clients in labour and ecclesiastical court judgement and resolution proceedings in all instances of the relevant jurisdiction. Dr Benkendorff describes the open perspective for innovations and alternative dispute resolution as formative for her view of the world of labour law. Santiago, Quito, Berlin. Dr Andrea Benkendorff honed her foreign language skills while still a student – in the USA, Germany and Santiago de Compostela in Spain. Her path led her to Ecuador, where she worked for the German Embassy in Quito, and later to the German Bundestag for three years, where she was also involved in the amendments to the Basic Law on the “Right to Work”. She has been advising clients of Battke Grünberg since 2010 – gladly also in English or Spanish.
