As a founding partner of Battke Grünberg, Jörg-Dieter Battke is particularly involved in the firm’s project business.

In matters of commercial and corporate law, he accompanies complex transactions with his legal expertise, for example in the negotiation and drafting of contracts or in project management. One focus of Jörg-Dieter Battke’s advice and representation is in the area of mergers and acquisitions. For example, he advises clients on the establishment, sale or acquisition of shareholdings as well as on mergers and demergers of companies. He also advises on corporate succession and foundation law.

In municipal economic law, Jörg-Dieter Battke focuses on advising cities, municipalities, counties and their companies (“municipal group”), in particular on the establishment of and participation in companies, the reorganisation of participation structures and privatisation or remunicipalisation.

In addition to his work at the law firm, Jörg-Dieter Battke supports the Saxony Bar Association as an honorary member of two specialist lawyers’ committees. He publishes in specialist media on topics of commercial and corporate law and is in demand as an experienced speaker at lectures and training events.
