As a highly experienced specialist lawyer, Rainer Fahrenbruch joined the team at Battke Grünberg in spring 2024 to provide expertise in construction and architectural law.
One focus of his work is representing architects and engineering firms in court in fee and liability proceedings. He also supports builders and planning offices as a ‘specialist legal expert’ in ongoing construction projects in the public and commercial sectors, helping to identify and minimise risks. With a particular focus on issues relating to construction law, contract law and public procurement law, he advises on an equal footing and always keeps the economic interests of those involved in mind.
Mr Fahrenbruch, who studied in Freiburg and Munich, has been working as legal advisor to the Saxony Chamber of Architects for more than a decade, where he also follows his principle of providing targeted advice. He is also a lecturer in architectural and engineering law on the master’s programme in ‘Construction Law and Construction Supervision’ at Philipps University in Marburg and regularly publishes articles in trade journals and online portals.
Change of perspective. At a young age, the family man appreciated the change of perspective that came with sport climbing, just as he still does today with theatre and the visual arts – for Rainer Fahrenbruch, artistic forms of expression enable an understanding view of social events and his own way of life.
